zone focus is when you have a designated place of focus and only what comes into the place of focus will be in focus.
panning is when you follow a moving object so that the background is blurred with motion while the moving object is not.
shutter speed has to do with the amount of time light enters the camera for in capturing an image. fast shutter speed should be used for action, where as sl0wer shutter speed can be used to capture moments that are not happening as quickly.
