Fashion Ethics

Under these circumstances, it is not okay. This image may put some pressure on girls to look that way, which is highly unrealistic because the model herself did not look that way. I don't think it is that big of a deal to alter photos in certain circumstances, but when you are altering photos to advertise to women that your product wil make them look like a digitally altered photo, it is wrong. Fashion photography is all about appealing to consumers, while photojournalism is the documentation of significant events. But I still think it is unethical to alter photographs to sell things.
