Photo Illustration Idea

I'd like to do kind of a portrait shot of myself in a home-made astronaut helmet pasted into the sky in a flying position of a shot of a sunset. It will be a composite image.

Photo Illustrations

This looks like a staged illustration of an orange.

I like it because it looks like a jellyfish.

Left: this is a staged photo. I like it because it's so creepy.

Top Left"
Conceptual illustration. I like this because I like the beatles.

Sports Shoot Plans

I plan to shoot baseball during this period.
I had also planned to do some shooting at the battle of the bands, but the lighting was too bad.

16 was my favorite. I think the angle is strange. I also like the way the light reflects off of the buildings window. Something about the angles makes the building seem very imposing. It reminds me of gotham city somehow, just like the frost bank building. I would be totally fine with Austin if it gradually turned into Gotham city.

Photography Techniques

zone focus is when you have a designated place of focus and only what comes into the place of focus will be in focus.
panning is when you follow a moving object so that the background is blurred with motion while the moving object is not.
shutter speed has to do with the amount of time light enters the camera for in capturing an image. fast shutter speed should be used for action, where as sl0wer shutter speed can be used to capture moments that are not happening as quickly.

Gordon Parks and Langston Hughes

I read for about 20 to 30 minutes. My favorite Langston Hughes poem was Juke Box Love Song. Honestly it was one single line in the poem that made it my favorite: "Take Harlem's heartbeat, make a drumbeat." I really liked that.

My favorite Gordon Parks photograph was
this one.
He captured some strange, almost fearlike emotion and filled the frame. I liked this.
